Effective Upon Enrollment
Overview of Services
By subscribing to the Veil Basic plan, you agree to receive the following services, delivered on a continuous and recurring basis:
Data Broker Removal
Submission of opt-out and data removal requests to 300+ data broker and people-search websites
Ongoing monitoring for the reappearance of personal data, with automated re-submission where applicable
Coverage includes major data brokers such as Whitepages, Spokeo, BeenVerified, and others
Dark Web and Data Breach Monitoring
Alerts when personal information is identified in publicly known data breaches
Reporting of compromised data including emails, passwords, phone numbers, and physical addresses
Recommended steps for account and data security remediation when relevant
Facial Recognition Engine Removal
Scans of publicly accessible facial recognition databases
Submissions of opt-out or removal requests to biometric profiling platforms, including academic, commercial, and publicly indexed datasets
Focused on the removal of facial data from non-governmental, publicly available systems where opt-out is permitted
Payment and Terms
The monthly fee is $24.99, billed on a recurring basis until canceled by the Client
Services are initiated within 48 hours of subscription
The Client may cancel at any time. Cancellations apply to future billing cycles; past payments are non-refundable
There are no setup fees or long-term contracts associated with this plan
Client Responsibilities
To facilitate successful execution of services, the Client agrees to:
Provide accurate and complete personal data necessary for removal efforts, including but not limited to name variations, emails, phone numbers, addresses, and relevant photographs
Respond to requests for identity or data verification when required by specific third-party platforms or data brokers
Limitations of Service
While DarkVeil utilizes best-effort, legally-compliant removal strategies, full removal from all platforms is not guaranteed
Some data brokers may deny removal based on applicable laws, platform policies, or public record exemptions
Facial recognition removal is limited to publicly accessible databases and does not cover proprietary or private surveillance systems not subject to opt-out policies
Data Handling and Privacy
DarkVeil does not sell, rent, or share Client data with unnecessary third parties
All data provided by the Client is used solely for the purpose of fulfilling the services described herein
Data is stored securely and encrypted in accordance with applicable industry standards
Legal Governance
This Agreement is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Virginia within the United States of America
Any disputes arising from this Agreement shall be subject to binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association
Limitation of Liability: DarkVeil’s liability for any claim arising under this Agreement shall not exceed the total monthly fee paid by the Client during the month in which the claim arises
Agreement and Acknowledgment
By enrolling in the Veil Basic service plan, the Client acknowledges and agrees to the terms outlined in this Agreement. Use of services constitutes acceptance of these terms.
